Summerville’s Red, White & Blue on the Green – 4-7pm at Hutchinson Square (Town Square) & Fireworks 7-9pm at Gahagan Sport’s Complex
Get ready to see your neighbors, enjoy the town parade and delicious food! Every year, the town of Summerville gathers to show their patriotism. The non-motorized parade is open to everyone and the Summerville DREAM will award prizes for most patriotic. Get your red, white and blue out and decorate your baby strollers, bikes, wagons, rollerblades, tricycles and join the parade! Registration for the parade begins at 4pm and the actual parade begins at 6:30pm
In addition you will find a magic show, jumpy house, games and activities for everyone, live music and delicious food. All proceeds will benefit the effort to restore the downtown area of Summerville.
Fireworks, hosted by the Town of Summerville, will follow the celebrations at the square over at the Gahagan Sports Complex (515 West Boundary St., Summerville). Concessions and music will begin at 7pm and the fireworks show will begin at 9pm. Bring a beach blanket or chairs to sit on!
