Spring Festival of Homes
Location: The Ponds, 324 Hundred Oaks Parkway, Summerville
Date: Saturday & Sunday, April 30 & May 1,2011
Visitors can browse through two model homes, one of which marks the grand opening of the model home by HHHunt Homes, which began building in The Ponds
at the end of last year. Also 13 homes will be available from five different builders. Shop the garden display from Stack’s Nursery and register at one of the models to

Dancing (Shagging) & Shopping in Downtown Summerville
Location: Downtown Summerville, Little Main (Between West Doty & West Richardson)
Date: Thursday, April 21,2011
Little Main (from West Doty Avenue to West Richardson Avenue) will be closed to traffic. A live radio remote from The Boardwalk 1340 will spin the tunes for shaggers. DJ Jim Bowers will be in charge of keeping the music lively and dancers of all ages and experience are invited to join the fun. Also featured will be Carolina Classic Ford Car Club cars; a summer camp fair with businesses offering arts, craft camps, sports camps by the YMCA and fun camps at Celebration Town and FasTrac Kids. Annual Tea to Benefit the Summerville Community Orchestra
Location: Linwood Historic Home & Gardens, 200 South Palmetto

Summerville Dog Show 2011
Location: Azalea Park, Summerville
Date: May 7,2011
The cost is $10 to enter one event and $2 each to enter additional events. The events will be largest dog, smallest dog, most prissy, best costume, greatest trick,
most lion-like and dog/owner dress alike. Food will be available for purchase.If any vendors would like to rent space, they are to call Debra Songer at 843-452-7886.
Dorchester Habitat For Humanity’s historic Downtown Summerville Cottage Tour
Location: All over Summerville, Begin at Linwood, 200 Palmetto Street, Summerville
Date: Sunday , May 8th,
Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Starts at Linwood Bed & Breakfast, 200 Palmetto Street. Information, brochures, and tickets will be available the day of the event in the garden of Linwood B&B, along with refreshments and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:00 pm. Ticket also includes a ticket to the “Sculpture in the South” weekend show, on May 14 & 15.
Blue Dogs Concert at The Ponds

The grounds surrounding the historic farmhouse at Summerville community The Ponds will be rockin’ on Friday, May 13 when popular Lowcountry band the Blue Dogs
play a free concert as part of Piccolo Spoleto. Tickets to the concert are free but must be secured in advance. They will be available at the Summerville Family YMCA located within The Ponds development. Or order free tickets online at http://www.DiscoverThePonds.com/BlueDogs. Space is limited.
