Spirit of America

Watch as Soldiers bring history to life with this year’s Spirit of America performance. Told by today’s Soldiers, Spirit of America captures the true stories of those who have answered the call to duty for our nation.

Third Thursday in Summerville

Location: Hutchinson Square, Downtown Summerville, SC

Date: Thursday, Sept 15, 2011

Time: 5-8pm

September has arrived with cooler weather and it sets up a perfect evening for coming out to enjoy Third Thursday. There will be musical entertainment around town starting with the Shakin’ Martinis playing on Hutchinson Square. More music on Short Central provided by Josh Padgett Jazz Trio and The Hot Shots on West Richardson. A popular attraction will be back for this month–the Cinderella carriage rides. The Art Walk will be on Short Central with artists and artisans displaying their work. Stop by the stores to seek out special deals and have an outdoor meal at one of our many restaurants.

Lowcountry Paws & Claws Pet Expo

Location: Exchange Park, Highway 78,Ladson, SC

Date:  Saturday, Sept  17,2011
Time: 11-4pm

One of the area’s premier pet events!
It’s fun for the whole family (including the four-legged members) and a great showcase for pet-oriented businesses and organizations! Tickets will be just $2 each. 12 & under are free!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit all participating animal rescue organizations.

Third Sunday at Three Concert Series in Summerville

La Belle Musique is a female Chamber Music ensemble led by
Dr Julia Harlow from the Harpsichord. The public is invited to this free concert.
