Some new fun family events for October, Halloween and this Fall in Charleston & Summerville have arrived.  I thought I would add on to my previous Fun Family Events in Charleston and Summerville  with more ideas for fun for your family this fall!!

“Spooktacular” Halloween Event

Saturday, October 13, 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Trident Family Health

9228 Medical Plaza Dr, N. Charleston (next to Trident Medical Center)

Children can grab their favorite costume and “trick or treat” in a safe environment. Prizes will be given away including a new Xbox 360 for the best costume. When kids aren’t “trick or treating” they can enjoy a jump castle, balloon animals, refreshments and face painting. “Spooktacular” is free and open to all ages.

Summerville Oakbrook Breakfast Rotary, Summerville Evening Rotary Club.  All proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, Summerville Miracle League, and Worldwide Clean Water Projects. Funds will also provide scholarship funds at CSU, Fort Dorchester and TTC.

Step Back in Time at Plantation Days

Middleton Place invites visitors to annual hands-on history experience

Saturday & Sunday, October 13 and 14 (all day)

Middleton Place, 4300 Ashley River Road

Middleton Place invites visitors to see what life on a Low Country plantation was like in the 18th and 19th centuries. Plantation Days and its family-friendly programs will run all day. Most activities are free with admission to Middleton Place.  www.middletonplace.org or call (843) 556-6020.
