Belle Hall is one of Mount Pleasant’s largest master planned communities with over 1000 homes in the whole plantation. Building began in Belle Hall back in the early 1990s with the first three sections of Belle Hall: Veranda, Rice Bay and Courtyard. These three sections consist of traditional vinyl sided homes and offer a price point beginning in the high 200’s up to 400K.
In 2004, Belle Hall Plantation started expanding and more sections and homes were built. The Battery Point section, in the middle of the plantation, is complete with larger lots and more spacious, customized homes.
Hibben, Evian and The Island are found near the back of Belle Hall. These sections offer gorgeous custom homes ranging from the high 400’s up to multi-million dollar homes with marsh views. Vacant lots and new home construction are still available in these sections. View homes currently for sale in Belle Hall Plantation.
While small lots are par for the course with new home construction in Mount Pleasant, the lots in Belle Hall are known for being on the small side. (Caveat: The lots in “The Island” section are almost 3/4 of an acre.) The reason lies in the location of Belle Hall. It is located off of Longpoint Road near I-526. This puts it very close to downtown Charleston making it ideal for those commuting and wanting to be close to downtown Charleston.
Belle Hall Plantation residents also enjoy their own shopping center (Belle Hall Shopping Center & Station) with a grocery store, coffee shops, retail stores, restaurants and more.
Finally, one can not forget the great amenities and quality of life Belle Hall Plantation has to offer! There are over two miles of walking trails throughout the development, a dock for crabbing, play parks, two beautiful swimming pool and multiple ponds. Kids and adults can enjoy playing on the basketball court, tennis courts, and volleyball court. After a work out, relax and socialize at the clubhouse or community centers. For the families with children, Belle Hall Elementary is within walking distance and is one of the top ranked public schools in the area as well as Cario Middle and Wando High.
