Summerville – Red, White & Blue on the Green in Summerville, SC & Fireworks
Location: In past years, the festivities have started in Hutchinson Town Square and moved to Gahagan Park, but this year it is all going to be held at Gahagan Park.(515 West Boundary St.) (Fireworks)
Date: Monday, July 4
5:30-9:30 pm . Jerry Blackwell Sports Complex at Gahagan Park will be the center of old-fashioned 4th of July family fun with musical entertainment, games, childrens’ activities, jump castles, and the ever popular patriotic newspaper hats. This is a FREE community event. Fireworks will begin at dusk!
North Charleston – Fourth of July Festival- Riverfront Park -3-9:45 pm
The city of North Charleston always puts on a wonderful show for the residents of North Charleston.
The Festival is presented free of charge to the public with all general admission for attendees. Guests attending the Festival are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as there is no seating provided. Food trucks and ATMs will be widely available.Children activities are available free of charge, including inflatable jump castles, games, the play area, the giant sandbox, and the water fountain.
The firework display set off in Charleston Harbor is incredible and if you can’t find someone to take you out in a boat, you can watch from Patriots Point! Guests interested in attending the spectacular, patriotic event at Patriots Point are reminded that aside from the parking fee, there is no charge to enjoy the landside celebration. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating to set up on the grassy areas alongside the marsh.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will provide live music and entertainment on shore starting at 4 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and jump castles, face painting and other activities will be available for children. Parking will cost $10 per vehicle for all guests including those who purchase flight deck tickets.
Guests who set up their seating landside are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, coolers and even tents for their areas. However, all tents must be taken down by 8 p.m. to provide ample viewing of the fireworks for all of those seated landside.
Admission: Free for landside entertainment, Kidz Zone and fireworks.
Directions: I-26 to downtown Charleston. Take Hwy. 17 North, cross the Cooper River Bridge and follow signs to Patriots Point.
Goose Creek – Fourth of July Festivities
The city of Goose Creek has a fabulous Fourth of July celebration planned for the residents of Goose Creek! Live music from the Dave Landeo Band, free kid’s area, food vendors and a great grand finale fireworks show. Free parking and free admission. Parking is limited, so try to carpool and arrive early. No pets, coolers, alcohol or fireworks.
