Recently, I visited Carnes Crossroads to see the progress and homes for sale in Carnes Crossroads. Even though I’ve written about Carnes Crossroads-Summerville’s new master planned community before, it was exciting to see all of the work happening to make Carnes Crossroads another beautiful Summerville subdivision!

Two Hundred and Forty-Nine homes in Carnes Crossroads have already sold and the master plan anticipates 15,000 people will eventually call Carnes their home. Carnes Crossroads offers a range of neighborhoods with single family homes, townhomes and condos. The builders currently building in Carnes Crossroads are David Weekley homes, Eastwood Homes, Pulte Homes, and Sabal Homes. Homes range from 1745-3000 sq ft with pricing in the mid $200s-$500s.

New Homes for sale in Del Webb Nexton are even more appealing now that the brand new amenity center opened last weekend!  My team ventured out last week for the grand opening of the Del Webb Nexton Amenity Center and Clubhouse and were thoroughly impressed!  Even in its early stages, the clubhouse was buzzing with energy and activity.

The first stop was the spacious commercial sized kitchen.  With gleaming white tiles, spacious counters, and varied equipment this kitchen is ready and waiting for creativity, laughter and friendships to form.   Del Webb Nexton plans to offer cooking classes in the kitchen as well as offer it for residents to use and teach from as well. If you were a chef before moving to Del Webb Nexton and would like to offer a class, this kitchen is for you to share your gifts and connect with others in your community.

Near the kitchen are tables and chairs for lounging and visiting with neighbors and game tables for a little friendly competition.

Summer is winding down and we are ready with the Summerville Real Estate Stats for last month!  Here is what happened last month with homes for sale in Summerville, SC.

Summerville Real Estate Market Reports

According to our Summerville real estate market reports, we now have 16% less homes for sale in Summerville then we did this time last year and the average sales price for homes in Summerville has held steady at $270,295, which is 3%  up from this time last year.

We saw 314 homes for sale in Summerville sell after an average of 42 days on the market. The number of days it takes for a home to sell in Summerville has gone up by 5% from this time last year in 2018.

We are still quite low with the months supply of homes for sale in Summerville  as the chart below indicates clearly.

We have 16% less homes on the market this year than we did this time last year.  The average price per square foot in Summerville rose to $129/square foot last month.
